Tim Hudson

Tim Hudson is a co-founder of Silicon Stemcell and S2. Together with Michael Anderer and Joel Weinbach, he was part of the five-member management team responsible for building a new $550MM Technology Services division for IKON Office Solutions.

As VP of New Technology/Enterprises and later as VP of Marketing, Mr. Hudson helped create IKON's new software technology R&D center and established the market presence of the new IKON TS Division.

Mr. Hudson started his career in 1983, joining IBM as a Systems Engineer and National Scientific Specialist.

In 1989, Mr. Hudson founded and was CEO/Founder of Fourth Wave Technologies -- a technology solutions provider specializing in network integration, education, and custom software development.

He also was founder/CEO of FWS, Inc. an international producer and publisher of wireless software technology that won numerous industry awards, including PC Week’s Analysts’ Choice Award. Mr. Hudson was also selected by Computer Reseller News as one of the "TOP 15 Up and Coming Computer Executives" in 1992.

During that same period, Mr. Hudson served as President of the Detroit chapter of the international Local Area Network Dealer Association (LANDA) and was a member of Microsoft's and Novell's National Advisory Councils.

Additionally, in 1994 Mr. Hudson served as the CEO of Innerset, Inc., a consolidator of mid-market network integration firms, and was a board member of USConnect, Inc., an international systems integration consortium ranked in the Top 5 of LAN Magazine’s VAR 100.

In 1995, he co-founded Integra Technology, a client-server enterprise custom applications and new-media product company. Mr. Hudson was the founder of US Wireless and later a co-founder of WYND Communications, a wireless communications company that merged with GO America (NYSE: GOAM).

Mr. Hudson has been a frequent moderator and speaker at such computer conventions as Comdex and PC Expo and has been involved as a founder, investor, advisor, or director in the launch of over 15 technology oriented businesses, and has advised on and/or managed numerous M&A transactions.

Mr. Hudson is an active member of the Young Entreprenuers Organization (YEO) and helped to create and establish the YEO Detroit Chapter. He recieved a BS in Computer Science (with Honors) from Oakland University.
