After incubation and initial funding from SiliconStemcell, Airclic raised $290M in series A financing from strategic partners Motorola Inc., Ericsson Business Innovation AB, Symbol Technologies Inc., and a private investor group led by Goldman Sachs & Co., with a Series B round led by Motorola Ventures. Airclic was also part of a $500M joint-venture with Motorola, Inc., Symbol Technologies, Inc, Connect Things, Inc.
Through strategic relationships with leading mobile handset manufacturers and operators, such as Motorola and Nextel, AirClic continues to refine its capabilities as customer needs expand and technologies evolve.
